Aryan Phougat

I build systems and the interfaces that make them usable — with a bias for clarity over noise.

02

A working profile

I'm Aryan, a full-stack developer in Rohtak, India. My work tends to sit where product thinking meets interface engineering: simulation models, design systems, booking flows, real-time tools.

I like the part where an ambiguous idea becomes a set of states, and then a screen that makes those states obvious. That usually means spending time on the data model before touching the layout, and then spending just as long on the empty states, keyboard paths, and error copy.

I care about the unglamorous parts. A fast interface, a clear focus ring, and an honest status message are not polish at the end — they are the product.

Building real-time tools and frontend architecture at SEGV.

Alongside that, I'm building independent product work and writing case studies for the projects on this site.

How I work

01

Model first

A clear state model makes the interface simpler. I start with the entities, transitions, and failure cases before designing screens.

02

Design the edges

Empty, loading, error, and keyboard states are part of the product. They are usually where trust is won or lost.

03

Performance is design

A fast interface feels more trustworthy. I remove dependencies, hand-build small charts, and measure the build rather than guessing.

04

No decoration without a job

Every line, label, and motion should carry information. If it only fills space, it is probably not finished.
