Lab / Experiments04 entries

The lab.

Smaller builds, prototypes, and things I'm still figuring out. Some are live; some are sketches. The status is the honest part.

Vellum

In progress

An early-stage local-first reader. The repository contains a Tauri 2 + Svelte 5 desktop shell and a frontend–backend contract for EPUB, CBZ, CBR, and PDF libraries, SQLite storage, archive extraction, and reading progress. The reader itself is not implemented yet.

MindFlow

Live prototype

A visual blog prototype built around floating thought cards, tags, a light/dark theme, and a dialog for adding a thought. A front-end experiment in making a reading interface feel less like a feed.

Prototype

A B2B storefront and business-directory prototype: product browsing, business profiles, a dashboard, and contact flows, with an Express/Mongo backend scaffold. Product and dashboard data are mocked; the business directory reads from the API.

Note

On unfinished work

Not everything here is finished. That's the point.

The lab is where I test a platform, an interaction, or a data model before it becomes a product. Status labels are deliberate: a live prototype has a public build, a prototype has a working interface, and an experiment is still asking a question.
